Our client is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead revenue recognition and reporting in a fast-growing, data-driven organization entering its next phase of scale. This role will own complex revenue accounting processes and help build the systems, controls, and policies needed to support continued growth and public-company readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end revenue accounting, including recognition across multiple revenue streams and variable consideration models
- Apply and interpret ASC 606, ensuring compliance and consistency across products and systems
- Lead month-end close activities related to revenue, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting
- Maintain revenue accounting policies, documentation, and technical memos
- Partner with Data, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to improve data integrity and reporting workflows
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to support scale
- Support audits, SOX compliance, and special initiatives such as ERP optimization or IPO readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
- 5 years of revenue accounting experience, ideally in high-growth technology, fintech, or complex transaction environments
- Deep expertise in ASC 606 and revenue recognition for non-standard contracts
- Strong systems and data orientation; experience with ERPs and revenue tools (e.g., NetSuite)
- Comfortable operating in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with strong cross-functional communication skills
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
