What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immigration Paralegal position at Feldman Feldman & Associates PC?
San Diego Immigration Law firm seeks an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal with a strong background in employment-based and investor visas. This is not an entry-level position and is not focused on family-based immigration.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable handling complex business immigration matters independently and working directly with attorneys and sophisticated clients.
Primary responsibilities:
- Work directly with corporate and individual clients in a professional, responsive, and organized manner to gather required information and documentation
- Prepare and manage a wide range of employment-based petitions, including but not limited to:
- H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-2, O-1
- EB-1, EB-2 NIW, EB-2/EB-3, EB-5
- Assist in preparation of I-140, I-485, and consular processing cases
- Draft forms, support letters, and document checklists with minimal supervision
- Track case progress and deadlines using case management systems (e.g., Docketwise)
- Communicate with clients regarding case status, required documents, and procedural steps
- Maintain organized digital case files and ensure accuracy and completeness of submissions
