Fehrer Tool Cleaner Night Shift (12 Hours)

1. SUMMARY:
   To set up molds for mold changes, clean molds when needed and to fill in and help on the production floor where needed.

1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Additional duties as needed and assigned.
• Identify and report any mold damage or issues to the supervisor.
• Track mold cleanings on log sheets.
• Prepare molds for storage on racks, or shipment back to warehouse.
• Clean and prep (wax) molds for production to run.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Forklift operating knowledge (Must be forklift certified).
• Valid Driver’s license.

1. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing maintenance. The individual will be responsible for leading maintenance systems, overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategic plans. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.

• High school diploma or GED

1. LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets basic instructions and required documents.  Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.

• Basic reading skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend a production schedule to prepare for upcoming mold changes.

1. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.

• Must be able to work in unconditioned environment that is HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter for up to 8 hours a day (and overtime as needed)

1. WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Normal amount of sitting and standing, above average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer. 

• Reports to Production supervisor.
• Will have contact with production, quality, maintenance and warehouse personnel.
