Position Details
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Immediate opening
- Competitive hourly pay plus commission opportunities
Responsibilities
- Assist clients by phone, email, text, chat, and in person with their insurance needs, including policy changes, billing questions, claims assistance, payments, and follow-up.
- Build strong relationships by providing outstanding customer service on every interaction.
- Cross-sell and recommend additional insurance products and coverages when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate client records using our Agency Management System (HawkSoft).
- Review work carefully to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
- Work collaboratively with coworkers, insurance carriers, and clients.
- Assist with general office responsibilities including scanning, filing, organizing, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
- Continue learning and staying current with insurance products and industry changes.
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Property & Casualty License (required)
- Pennsylvania Life & Health License (preferred)
- Previous insurance agency experience required
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
