Job Overview:
FedTec is seeking high-level administrative and executive support to the Supervisor and District Office. This role involves managing communications, scheduling, and serving as a liaison between the Supervisor’s office, county staff, agencies, and the public. The position requires professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include handling correspondence, maintaining calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing official documents, and supporting special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and emails to the appropriate staff.
- Review and prioritize incoming correspondence and requests for the Supervisor’s attention.
- Manage Supervisor Hume’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, including preparing materials, agendas, and follow-up documentation.
- Serve as the first point of contact for constituents, county officials, and external partners, ensuring all interactions reflect the professionalism of the Supervisor’s office.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Assist with drafting letters, memos, and other official communications.
- Support special projects, community events, and district initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate closely with two other team members and work in daily coordination with Supervisor Hume.
- Assist with the Supervisor’s annual FPPC reporting.
Required Skills And education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative, executive assistant, or office management experience, preferably in a government or public service environment.
