About The Role

You will play a central role in training, team development, operational leadership, and strategic execution while fostering a high-performing, engaged team environment.
What You’ll Do
Leadership and Operational Management
- Oversee scheduling, assignments, and performance of Premium Analysts
- Provide coaching, development, and frequent feedback to team members
- Lead team meetings, manage payroll approvals, and conduct timely performance evaluations
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff
- Develop and maintain department procedures, documentation, and training plans
- Ensure team performance aligns with metric and service-level standards
- Identify operational risks, propose solutions, and drive process improvements
- Support escalated issues and audit inquiries
- Promote a culture of innovation, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and implement workarounds
- Escalate and communicate technical issues effectively
- Advocate for system or process enhancements that support efficiency and cost savings
- Support team members with migrations and changes communicated through Agency Payroll Offices (APOs)
- Collaborate with FSAFEDS leadership on workflow planning and organizational change
- Serve as a lead contact for BENEFEDS Customer Service, FSAFEDS administrators, and APO representatives
- Resolve escalations, funds variances, inquiries, and other complex issues
- Travel to site locations as needed to support APO relationships
- High school diploma required; some college or equivalent experience preferred
- At least 2 years of people management experience with demonstrated success in coaching, development, and team performance
- Experience in billing, reconciliation, finance, operations, or employee benefits
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with databases, file feeds, and data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, and SharePoint
- Vendor management experience a plus
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Ability to balance team involvement with effective delegation
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects and priorities
- Comfort working with SDLC concepts, agile methodologies, and tools such as JIRA
