Full-time Medical Assistant

Responsibilities and Duties

Gather Patient Clinical Information, Record History and Obtain Vitals

Assist Doctor During Patient Appointments and Scribe

Assist Doctor During Office Procedures, Surgery and Laser Procedures

Prepare Patients for Exams and Procedures

Obtain Patient Consents and Provide Pre- and Post-procedure Care Instructions

Surgical Scrub Experience Desirable

Suture/Staple Removal

Coordinate Care with Other Physicians

Instrument and Equipment Cleaning and Sterilization

Stock, Clean and Sanitize Patient Rooms

Inventory Management

Answer Patient and Pharmacy Calls

Maintain Patient Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance

Qualifications and Skills

The applicant MUST be a certified medical assistant. Up-to-date certification is required. Surgical experience is highly desirable. The applicant must be proficient with sterile technique.

High school diploma is required.

Certified Medical Assistant is required.

BLS Certification is required.

Microsoft Office and computer skills are required.

This is a fast-paced environment that requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational abilities.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
