Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules for timeliness and accuracy
- Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct heavy lifting and merchandise handling to load and unload deliveries with proper safety techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including proper pictures, signatures, and drop off details
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or issues encountered
- Organize daily delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasksExperience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred; a valid driver’s license is required with preferable real ID for on base deliveries
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Prior experience in delivery is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Organizational skills for managing multiple deliveries and maintaining accurate records
- Military background or experience can be advantageous due to discipline and route familiarity
