Pay: Pay Range: $116,600.00 - $204,050.00 per year
Additional Details: While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location(s) in Harrison, AR; Memphis, TN; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Pittsburgh, PA; Lakeland, FL; Milwaukee, WI

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Own and implement data governance policies, standards, cataloging, lineage and quality management to ensure data integrity and trust
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data catalogs and lineage to enhance data accessibility and usability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance principles into business processes and technology solutions
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics and performance to senior management
- Manage, lead and develop a professional data governance team fostering technical growth and continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in data governance or related fields
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies and standards
- Experience with data cataloging, lineage and quality management tools
- Familiarity with data compliance and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical skills for assessing data governance and identifying areas for improvement
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and business teams
- Leadership skills to guide and develop a high-performing data governance team
- Some travel required
