Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate a team of high performing IT leadership and professionals.
- Define and champion the enterprise data governance and Master Data Management (MDM) strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulations
- Driver the selection and optimization of governance and MDM tools, including data catalogs, lineage and metadata management solutions
- Oversee governance operating models, data councils and stewardship networks to embed accountability for data quality and ownership.
- Establish and maintain strong metadata and lineage management, defining and tracking critical data elements.
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of MDM platforms and practices to enable trusted data assets and capabilities such as Customer 360
- Monitor and report governance performance, risks and compliance through clear metrics and dashboards for executive leaders
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical and organizational skills to manage data quality initiatives and compliance monitoring
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, data science, data management, business administration or related field
- Ten (10) years of experience in data management, governance or related fields
- Proven expertise in overseeing data governance, master data management (MDM), data lake management and legacy data management
- Strong knowledge of data policies, standards and quality management
- Experience with data management and integration of modern and legacy data platforms
- Strategic planning skills to design and implement effective data governance and product strategies
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills to oversee diverse data functions
- Analytical problem-solving skills to drive data quality improvements and operational excellence
- Some travel required
