Intermediate Network Engineer/Analyst

This position is part of the Federated Hermes’ Global Technology Organization. In this position you are responsible to ensure that all network hardware and software related problems are identified and logged in the designated tracking system. Troubleshoot moderate problems with supported network systems and applications; test, adjust and troubleshoot equipment. Respond to high severity/high priority incidents related to on-call data or voice engineer. Assist in the identification of system/network problems at remote sites. Monitor network performance, generate capacity statistics, and recommend improvements. Develop tactical plans for assigned initiatives.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience and at least three years of experience in data network environment. Experience with NAC, TCP/IP required. Experience with Azure Networking, MPLS; Familiarity with new and emerging network technologies (NGFW, Fiber transports, load balancing) and telephony experience is preferred.
This position offers a hybrid schedule (in-office/remote) and is located in Federated Hermes’ Canonsburg PA office (15317).
