Duties
- Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including site cleanup and material organization
- Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, roofing, and finishing
- Install rebar and perform concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and pumping to create durable foundations and structures
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project progress
- Execute carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, and window/door installation
- Operate heavy equipment like forklifts or cranes when necessary for material movement or site preparation
- Assist with renovation projects by removing old materials, preparing surfaces for new finishes like plastering or caulking
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment
Experience
- No experience necessary will train the right candidate
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for long shifts
- Prior experience in renovation or restoration projects is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving if required for transporting materials or equipment
