Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily material status and shortage activities to support production schedules and priorities.
- Monitor material availability and identify shortages, late materials, and potential risks that may impact production.
- Lead the "what's missing/what's late" process and maintain clear visibility of material constraints.
- Partner with Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to prioritize and resolve material-related issues.
- Communicate material risks, production impacts, and recovery plans to appropriate stakeholders.
- Track material issues and follow up on action items through resolution.
- Maintain accurate material status and shortage information within systems and applicable tracking tools.
- Proactively review upcoming production requirements to identify potential material constraints.
- Coordinate material recovery efforts to minimize production disruptions and reduce reactive expediting.
- Identify recurring material issues and support process improvements related to material flow and production readiness.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

- Strong understanding of material flow, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive cross-functional resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of production planning, purchasing, warehouse, and inventory processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Two to five years of experience in supply chain, materials management, production planning, inventory management, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to regularly walk through warehouse and manufacturing areas.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
