Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technical support and computer management, with a focus on providing exceptional IT support to our users. This role requires proficiency in various operating systems, including Windows , as well as experience with Financial systems SME (DFMS, FAMIS, SNAP-IT, Section 508 compliance)
Duties
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues across various platforms.
- Manage computer systems and ensure optimal performance of IT infrastructure.
- Offer desktop support to resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Utilize tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira for ticket management and incident resolution.
- Conduct software troubleshooting to identify and rectify application-related problems.
- Maintain clear communication with users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement improvements in processes and systems.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience in technical support roles, with a strong understanding of Financial systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles, including LAN configurations and VPN setups.
- Experience with help desk operations using tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with users at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems is a plus.
