Position Overview
The Informatica Administrator/Analyst will support by managing Informatica PowerCenter and related infrastructure. The role requires strong expertise in troubleshooting, system administration, and enterprise batch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Informatica PowerCenter.
- Assess and upgrade Informatica components (mappings, workflows, jobs, ETL processes).
- Identify and troubleshoot system outages, installation issues, and application errors in Java applications on AWS.
- Generate/install security certificates and PGP keys.
- Work with Control-M (or equivalent) to create/schedule batches, calendars, and daily schedules.
- Restore Informatica services, manage users, and enforce governance controls.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat JBoss, Fuse, Apache, and Tomcat HTTP servers.
- Troubleshoot via log analysis in Splunk.
- Configure, deploy, and manage SSL certificates.
- Review and improve automation scripts for applications, batches, and web services.
- Provide recommendations to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and handle escalations.
- Use Jenkins for automation tasks (code check-in, builds).
- Manage and monitor Splunk for application monitoring.
- Support releases and change control standards.
- Perform scheduled maintenance (patching, tuning, backups).
- Execute daily batch scripts, including evenings/weekends/holidays as needed.
- Conduct capacity and scalability planning.
- Manage incidents and change processes in JIRA Service Desk.
- Work rotational shifts, including overtime when required.
- 3 years supporting Informatica PowerCenter operations and administration.
- 3 years as a Batch Operator using Control-M (or equivalent).
- 2 years working with PostgreSQL or equivalent DB environments.
- Experience in health insurance marketplace, healthcare, or HHS domains.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Experience with application/batch integration.
- Familiarity with Database & SQL functions.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- 5 years supporting enterprise systems in daily operations.
- 5 years as a Batch Operator managing Batch jobs in large systems.
- 3 years troubleshooting JBoss/Tomcat applications in AWS.
- Experience providing risk mitigation and escalation solutions in large-scale systems.
- Expertise with Control-M or equivalent batch management tools.
- Experience managing web-based systems hosted on AWS.
- Working knowledge of EDI operations.
- Understanding Java runtime environment (heap memory, thread dumps, garbage collection).
- Familiarity with PMO processes, policies, and procedures.
