- Utilizing established lesson plans, the position conducts training in such areas as: Protective Detail Refresher, Active Shooter Threat Instructor Training Program, Active Shooter Threat Training Program, Use of Force Instructor Training Program, Basic Tactics Instructor Training Program, Law Enforcement Control Tactics Training Program, Law Enforcement Control Tactics Refresher Training Program, Officer Response Tactics, Instructional Techniques for Non-Lethal Training Ammunition, Officer Safety and Survival, and Tactical Medical.
- Directing the tactics training programs to enhance each law enforcement officer's ability to safely handle potentially hazardous situations and maintain a level of proficiency and confidence in their knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Ensuring all tactics training complies with applicable policies and procedures.
- Monitors progress of students, documents results, and takes or recommends remedial and corrective action to include additional training and changes in training and/or operational procedures and instructions.

- Possess experience as a sworn law enforcement officer or agent with full arrest authority in the prevention, detection, apprehension, detention and/or investigation of felony and/or misdemeanor violations of federal, state, local, tribal, or military criminal laws;
