The Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis is seeking well-rounded and motivated individuals to join our Data Excellence team. The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties. The Analytics Engineer Intern will be a member of the Analytics Engineering team, gaining practical experience in supporting analytics solutions on the Bank’s enterprise data platforms and modern analytics technologies. This position provides the opportunity to work with Microsoft Fabric, SAP BusinessObjects, and various banking applications and datasets, facilitating informed, data-driven decision-making. The intern will operate under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborate on projects focused on developing and improving analytic solutions, while acquiring knowledge of industry-leading practices. This internship will follow our hybrid workforce model and will be required to be located in or around the Indianapolis area. Primary Responsibilities: Create and maintain Power BI and Webi reports Develop new Data Warehouse Jobs using Business Objects Data Services Develop and maintain Data Warehouse ETL jobs and processes Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to take instruction and work independently, as well as in a team setting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Analytical and problem-solving skills Program Features & Requirements: Interns are paid a competitive hourly rate. Our intern program is for students that have completed at least their sophomore year. Graduate students are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants should be Data Management or Data Science majors.
