Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- EPA Refrigeration Universal Certification
- NATE certification or be able to acquire within 2 years of employment
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Installs HVAC equipment and Accessories in basements, mechanical rooms, closets, garages, crawl spaces, knee walls, attics, and roofs for commercial and residential facilities.*
- Works with steel and ductboard; measures, cuts, welds, and assembles systems using power tools.*
- Threads gas pipe and solders all types of piping.*
- Assist in loading equipment and materials for each job.*
- Recover refrigerant from customers existing equipment.*
- Be responsible for all high/low voltage wiring (unless licensed electrician is required.)*
- Ability to install all plumbing & refrigeration lines.*
- Start-Up & Check all equipment.*
- Instruct the homeowner on the proper way to use and maintain equipment.
- Answer any questions the customer may have and collect payment for the job.
- Report to work and arrive at the job site on time.
- Remove old equipment. If it is found that extra materials are needed, contact management immediately.
- Clean the work area and remove all debris daily; and when installation is complete.
