ABOUT THE POSITION
The Home Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both Human Resources and Operations by managing the full lifecycle of field employees. This includes recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding caregivers to support staffing needs and across assigned Home Care Supervisor territories.
This position is also responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, complaince and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience for all field staff from hire through employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates; partner with regional teams to understand hiring needs and required competencies
- Represent the branch at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives
- Coordinate and process background checks and employment eligibility verifications
- Facilitate onboarding sessions and ensure a smooth new hire experience
- Maintain accurate data in HRIS, ATS, and personnel files; perform regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Manage and update job postings and recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Support and enhance employee recognition programs with creative, engaging ideas
- Respond to employment-related inquiries; escalate complex or sensitive matters as appropriate
- Maintain up-to-date employee records including medical, I-9, WOTC, and other required documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations; support internal and external audits
- Track and manage required training, certifications, and continuing education for field staff
- Coordinate trainings, screenings, and certification progress as needed
- Administer benefits and support annual enrollment processes
- Provide backup scheduling support for callouts and urgent staffing needs
- Assist with time-off requests and leave of absence management
- Partner with the home care team to support Safety Committee initiatives, including meetings and trainings
- Serve as a point of contact for regional office needs (vendors, PPE, office access, etc.)
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company privacy standards

COMPENSATION
$27–$30 per hour, depending on experience
