We are recruiting on behalf of Taxview Consulting, a year-round tax advisory and bookkeeping firm in Manchester, NH that provides bookkeeping, accounting and tax services to individuals and businesses.
The Role
Taxview Consulting is hiring a part-time Bookkeeper to keep accurate, well-organized books for its clients across several industries, and to support the internal back office. Training is provided for each client.
What You Will Do
- Process bank feeds and reconcile accounts
- Manage accounts payable: bill entry and payments
- Manage accounts receivable: invoicing and follow-up
- Process payroll, including reporting and recording
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Prepare and file sales tax for multiple states
- Create journal entries with accurate documentation
- Check tax schedules against QuickBooks records
- Handle job costing and project tracking
- Run quality checks and communicate corrections
- Keep client communication and notes up to date in our project management tools
Requirements
- 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks Online experience (required)
- Working knowledge of accounting principles, debits and credits
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Clear communication by email, phone and video
- Able to handle sensitive financial data confidentially
