What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Lead position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Lead for a 6-12-month commercial construction project with a large construction client near Hubbard, TX. This individual will be expected to work on a Monday-Saturday, 6-10, day shift schedule for the duration of the project. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.
Evaluating Practices & Procedures:
- Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements
- Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
Education /Knowledge:
- 10 Years of consecutive commercial construction experience as a safety lead and an OSHA 30 in Construction is required.
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is strongly preferred
- CHST (BCSP) certification is strongly preferred
- OSHA 510 Certification is strongly preferred
Salary : $50,368 - $76,963
