What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Safety Representative (Night Shift) position at FDR Safety?
FDRsafety is seeking a Field Safety Representative for a 1.5-3 year project with a large construction client near Rayville, LA. This individual will be expected to work on a Monday-Saturday, 6-10, night shift schedule for the duration of the project. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.
Evaluating Practices & Procedures:
- Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements
- Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
Education /Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is strongly preferred
- 7 Years of commercial construction experience within a lead safety role is preferred
- OSHA 510 Certification is strongly preferred
- BCSP Certification is preferred
