Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, level surfaces.
- Set up and dismantle formwork using concrete forming techniques for various structures.
- Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to strengthen concrete elements.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate efficient construction processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise work.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for site preparation, material handling, and cleanup.
- Support masonry, stucco, plastering, tile laying, and other related tasks as needed on renovation or new construction sites.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating tools and equipment effectively.
- Construction estimating skills to assist in project planning and material requirements.
- Expertise in rebar installation, concrete finishing, and concrete pumping techniques.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and commercial driving for material transport.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with metal stud framing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, roofing, restoration, and masonry work.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, power tools, scaffolding, and site safety standards.
