Network Technician

We are seeking an experienced Network Technician to provide desktop, application, hardware/software, and network support to internal customers via our service desk. The selected candidate will provide phone support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues to a large population of local and remote system users. Our Network Tech will also install hardware/software, troubleshoot network and connectivity issues at the desktop, and provide training to end users when necessary. The position also includes duties such as employee moves, telecommuter home office setups, maintaining and updating documentation, inventory and asset management, and overseeing outside technician repairs. This position is located in our Southwest Regional Office, in Richardson, TX and will be hybrid (4 days in office/ 1 day remote).

The salary range for this position is $20.69-$31.87 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience

• • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related
  • Minimum of two years experience in network configuration, troubleshooting techniques, Microsoft applications, imaging software, and equipment repair techniques; additional three to four years of experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel to regional and field employee offices
  • Ability to be on-call during evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Willingness to alter work hours (for system maintenance / upgrades)
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation

• • MCDST or A Certification is preferred
  • ITIL Certification recommended
