FCC Indiana located in Portland, IN currently has openings for Die Technician on 2nd and 3rd shift.
What you will do:
- Repair and maintain extrusion, blanking, and stamping dies to ensure they are ready for production.
- Follow schedule of preventative maintenance on all dies
- Efficiently use hand tools to repair dies correctly
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Accurate recording of data on dies
Skills:
- Must have mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of metric system
- Ability to read blueprints and computer literacy.
- Strong math skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Comfortable working in both an individual and team setting
- General machining knowledge is preferred
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift (2:00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.)
- 3rd Shift (10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.)
- Monday-Friday
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime as required
