What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Health Safety Coordinator position at FCC (INDIANA), INC?
The EHS Coordinator would be responsible for conducting delegated safety programs. (EHS responsibilities are distributed between a team of employees). Some of these programs include, but are not limited to, Crane, Robotics, Personal Protective Equipment, Ergonomics. The EHS Coordinator would be responsible to ensure programs assigned are in place and adhered to.
Responsibilities
- Completion of Environmental and Safety audits
- Accident investigation
- Training programs for associates as well as New Hire Orientation
- Reporting and data entry and analysis as needed
Skills
- Proven work experience as an EHS specialist
- Up to date knowledge on EHS laws and regulations
- Ability to continue to grow and develop skills
- MS Office proficiency
- Knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and chemical safety
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in team environment
- AS or BS degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field
PAY IS NEGOTIABLE BASED ON PAST EXPERIENCE
