What You’ll Do: In this Legal Assistant position, you will work under the supervision of the Legal Office Manager and assigned Attorneys to provide support, administrative assistance and general office duties. In this position your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide clerical support to the Legal Department including typing, filing and memo preparation
- Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements for Legal Department personnel
- Filling out and filing forms with state regulators
- Gathering and summarizing information from various departments within the company
- Document and track information in various formats such as charts, spreadsheets, etc.
- Flexibility is key as you will have other duties as assigned.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus three years relevant experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple target dates/time deadlines
- Advanced computer skills utilizing Adobe Pro, Excel and Word
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must maintain and safeguard very confidential information
Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa
