Forklift Operator – Building Materials Loader
Location: Remington, IN
Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday – Friday), hours may vary
Starting Pay: $18 - $20/hour

Key Responsibilities:
· Safely operate a forklift to load and unload building materials
· Transport and stock materials within the warehouse and yard
· Load outbound shipments and ensure they are properly tied down
· Receive and inspect incoming materials; tag and stock appropriately
· Assist retail customers and contractors with order loading
· Restock returned materials from job sites or customers
· Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard area
· Support small deliveries and yard operations using yard trucks
· Perform regular equipment checks and assist with quarterly inventory
· Communicate with purchasing to report low-stock items
Qualifications:
· Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire)
· Proven forklift operation experience in a warehouse or yard environment
· Strong attention to safety and operational detail
· Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs multiple times daily
· Comfortable working in outdoor environments in all weather conditions
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time with occasional extended shifts
· High school diploma or GED required
