The Coordinator of CRM Marketing is responsible for developing and executing data-informed marketing strategies within the College’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to support student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and engagement at Fayetteville Technical Community College.

This role focuses on campaign strategy, audience engagement, and marketing performance, leveraging CRM tools to deliver targeted, timely, and personalized communications aligned with institutional goals. The coordinator works in close partnership with the CRM Administrator and the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications leadership to ensure marketing initiatives are effectively deployed within the CRM environment.

Duties
Essential Duties—Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as the marketing lead for CRM-based communications, utilizing the platform (e.g., Slate, HubSpot, Salesforce, Element451, or equivalent) to execute outreach strategies.
- Design, build, and deploy targeted email and digital marketing campaigns and automated communication sequences that support recruitment, enrollment, and student retention goals.
- Develop and maintain audience segmentation strategies to ensure communications are relevant, personalized, and aligned with enrollment priorities.
- Plan and manage communication workflows across the student lifecycle, from prospect through enrollment and retention.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications to develop messaging strategies and campaign calendars aligned with institutional priorities.
- Partner with Admissions, Recruitment, Financial Aid, and Academic Affairs to align campaign timing and messaging with enrollment cycles.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates), and provide marketing-focused insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct A/B testing and other optimization strategies to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure CRM campaigns align with broader institutional branding, digital content, and social media strategies.
- Maintain consistency in voice, tone, and branding across all CRM-generated communications.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in higher education marketing, digital engagement, and CRM-based communications to recommend enhancements to marketing approaches.
- Recommend improvements to campaign workflows, messaging strategies, and audience engagement tactics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- An Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a relate field is required.
- Minimum of two-three years’ experience in CRM marketing, marketing automation, or digital communications, preferably in higher education or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated experience executing email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, automation, and performance tracking.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major CRM or marketing automation platform; certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics or similar).
- Working knowledge of digital content tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) preferred.
- Familiarity with enrollment marketing in a college or university setting is a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
