What You'll Do:

• Champion Biliteracy: Utilize your fluency in a second language to instruct students across all assigned subject matter, for all learners.
• Design Dynamic Lessons: Plan and execute engaging, standards-based instruction tailored to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of a diverse K-12 student population.
• Create Inclusive Classrooms: Establish a positive, orderly, and language-rich learning environment conducive to student growth and academic achievement.
• Assess & Adapt: Regularly evaluate student progress and diagnose learning needs, adapting your pedagogical approach to ensure all students thrive.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Valid Kentucky or US Teaching Certification (appropriate K-12 grade levels).
• Required proficiency in a language other than English (e.g., Spanish, French, etc.), demonstrated via a state-approved assessment.
• Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a Kentucky Endorsement in ESL or Bilingual Education.
