The Commercial Kitchen Incubator Program Support Specialist is a front-line, direct service position responsible for supporting food entrepreneurs participating in FCCAA’s Commercial Kitchen Incubator and Small Food Business Program. This role provides hands-on assistance to members using the facility, supports delivery of training and supportive services, and helps ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for entrepreneurs—particularly those from low-income and underserved communities.
The Program Support Specialist plays a key role in helping participants successfully navigate facility use, food safety practices, certification requirements, and basic business operations, while reinforcing FCCAA’s mission of promoting self-sufficiency, workforce development, and economic opportunity.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred
- At least one to two years of experience in food service, culinary operations, workforce development, community services, or customer support
- Experience working directly with low-income individuals or diverse populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and email communication
- Ability to plan and organize daily work
Preferred Qualifications
- ServSafe Food Handler or Manager certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen, share-use facility, or food production environment

- Ability to successfully pass Federal and State criminal background check and State of Pennsylvania Child Abuse screening
