Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of AAON HVAC units, air handlers, and related equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of HVAC performance issues, alarms, and environmental deviations.
- Perform filter changes, belt replacements, coil cleaning, and basic mechanical tasks.
- Monitor and document temperature, humidity, and airflow conditions across cultivation rooms.
- Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and maintain accurate logs.
- Support repairs and component replacements under supervision.
- Follow all facility SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate equipment issues promptly to the Lead HVAC Technician and Facilities Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn commercial HVAC systems.
- Experience with HVAC, facilities maintenance, or mechanical trades preferred but not required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and follow technical instructions.
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in warm/humid environments.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work in a regulated cannabis facility (must meet state background requirements).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Exposure to AAON or other commercial HVAC systems.
- Experience in cultivation, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, or building automation systems.
- Indoor commercial cultivation facility with varying temperature and humidity zones.
- Fast‑paced environment requiring consistent communication and teamwork.
- PPE provided as required.
