What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAINTENANCE WORKER position at Fawn Lake Forest Association?
Summary: Responsible for performing all maintenance and repair duties for association buildings and property as scheduled to preserve structural integrity by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
1. Receives and completes work orders and instructions from management according to the daily schedule.
2. Applies proper construction and maintenance techniques and the ability to use power and hand tools to perform repairs, maintenance work and renovations.
3. Assists contractors in the performance and completion of work.
4. Identifies and reports unusual or hazardous situations to management to preserve the structural integrity of the community buildings.
5. Reports to management when work is completed and if there are any problems or discrepancies with jobs.
6. Maintains building interiors by painting, cleaning, and performing other necessary upkeep duties as scheduled.
7. Performs required work in accordance with instructions including mowing, planting, watering, trimming trees, trimming hedges, and removing debris.
8. Performs required road construction and repairs using power and hand equipment to include digging and setting culvert pipes, grading shoulders, and other road maintenance duties.
9. Responds to complaints in a professional manner as appropriate.
10. Completes any necessary maintenance or installation of community signage; installs temporary signage when necessary to ensure safety and prevent any hazardous conditions.
11. Responds to emergency weather conditions and performs safe removal of snow/ice from community roads and building access points.
12. Maintains equipment, supplies, and company vehicles in good working order and returns equipment to appropriate store area at the end of each day.
13. Adheres to all company policies and procedures; paying special attention to health and safety guidelines.
14. Wears proper attire and brings necessary tools and equipment to work daily.
