Summary
Responsible for all bookkeeping duties and financial reporting as requested by the Community Manager and Board of Directors.

- Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Create and present monthly financial reports as directed by the Community Manager and/or Finance Chairperson.
- Maintain and balance the General Ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations for all accounts and report discrepancies.
- Monitor account balances and forecast financial needs to ensure sufficient operational funds.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of fund balances and properly account for authorized transfers between funds.
- Calculate and process biweekly payroll and payroll tax payments.
- Complete and file payroll tax returns and deposits on time.
- Maintain employee PTO records and reconcile with QuickBooks biweekly.
- Assist employees with health insurance and retirement plan enrollment and changes.
- Compile and submit documentation for the annual workers' compensation audit.
- Monitor and respond to unemployment claims promptly.
- Process and document all bank deposits accurately and in a timely manner.
- Update bank account signature cards annually or as required.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure proper approvals before issuing payments.
- Allocate expenses to appropriate budget lines.
- Prepare ledgers and compile paperwork for audits.
- Ensure all credits and debits, such as dues, fines, and sanitation charges, are correctly posted to the proper accounts.
- Oversee annual property owner billing and ensure accurate invoicing and payment applications.
- Serve as backup to front desk staff and assist customers as needed.
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Community Manager.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
