Fauquier Community Child Care (FCCC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing accessible, safe, and nurturing environments where school-aged children can learn, grow, and play. As the only licensed provider of out-of-school care located within Fauquier County Public Schools, FCCC serves children from all 11 county elementary schools. Programs include before-and-after-school care, holiday and teacher workday programs, inclement weather care, and summer camps. For over 30 years, FCCC has been committed to supporting the holistic development of children while ensuring a healthy and secure environment.
This is a full-time, on-site Site Manager role based in Warrenton, VA. The Site Manager will oversee the daily operations of an FCCC childcare site, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating daily program activities, maintaining compliance with licensing regulations, and fostering positive relationships with families, school personnel, and the community. The Site Manager will also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, supply management, and reporting to the FCCC leadership team.
- Demonstrated experience in childcare program management, staff supervision, and operations oversight
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively interacting with children, families, and colleagues
- Ability to create and execute engaging and age-appropriate activities and programs
- Knowledge of childcare licensing regulations, safety procedures, and best practices
- Proficiency in basic administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and resource management
- Relevant certifications such as First Aid and CPR; ability to obtain required certifications if not already held
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working within a school-age childcare program or community-based youth organization is a plus
