We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction sitework Project Manager to lead and oversee site work construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to develop detailed project plans, schematics, and blueprints.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Heavy job and other tools to track progress, manage resources, and update schedules.
- Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards; conduct regular site inspections and review construction site experience.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings like Civil 3D files to guide project execution.
- Manage sitework project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.
- Monitor project timelines through project scheduling techniques; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or issues.
- Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders through project coordination efforts; ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Implement construction estimating techniques to accurately forecast costs and resource needs.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all project activities for accountability and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in construction site operations.
- Familiarity with industry-standard construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and time management to meet tight deadlines efficiently.
- Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings relevant to heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Prior involvement in contract negotiations and contract administration processes.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating practices to support budgeting efforts.
- Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance.
