Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Administrative Coordinator for the Graduate Counseling Programs. The selected individual will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining files, and providing information to callers. This individual will also answer inquiries and obtain information for students, visitors, faculty, and staff. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), 12-month position.
Summary of Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the faculty of the Graduate Counseling Programs department
- Serve as a liaison between the department and students, faculty, staff, and other university offices
- Assist in compiling departmental academic schedules, scheduling classes and classrooms; input, maintain and track schedules
- Track and maintain curriculum vitas and professional development for departmental personnel
- Assist with paperwork and files for accreditation
- Process, secure and track required hiring paperwork for faculty and adjuncts
- Provide support for Graduate Counseling Programs admissions and and recruiting functions
- Assist with formatting, copying, and proctoring tests
- Supervise student workers and Graduate Assistants
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of office/clerical experience preferred
- Active member of the church of Christ
