We’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who is confident in their clinical abilities, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient and client care.

Faulkner Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal practice offering:

What You'll Do
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll be an essential part of patient care from start to finish:
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Safely and confidently restrain dogs and cats during procedures
- Collect patient histories and obtain accurate vitals (TPR, weight, etc.)
- Perform blood draws and support in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist with anesthesia monitoring and recovery
- Support wellness and preventive care services, including vaccines and client education
- Educate clients on medications, post-operative care, nutrition, and overall pet health
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment environment
- Support pharmacy, inventory, and daily hospital operations

- Previous Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience required
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) strongly preferred (South Carolina licensure)
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills (dogs & cats)
- Experience with phlebotomy, laboratory processes, and anesthesia support
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- A positive, team-first attitude with a strong work ethic
