Position Summary
Faulconer Construction is seeking a Facilities Support Lead to serve as the primary point of contact for all facility-related operations across the company’s offices in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This individual will coordinate maintenance, repairs, vendor services, and overall facility functionality to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent work environments.

They must be a self-starter who is comfortable working closely with leadership to help shape the future of our facilities operations.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility-related issues across multiple office locations.
- Coordinate and respond to facility requests including maintenance, repairs, and workplace needs.
- Troubleshoot facility issues (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) or escalate to vendors.
- Conduct routine site check-ins (in-person and remote).
- Coordinate office setup, moves, renovations, and furniture installations.
- Manage vendor relationships and service providers.
- Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain facility inventory including supplies and equipment.
- Track and manage work orders and project status.
- Ensure facilities meet safety and compliance standards.
- Communicate updates to staff and leadership.
- Provide hands-on support for minor repairs.
- Support IT, HR, and Operations teams as needed.
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned by the Director of IT & Facilities.

Experience
- 5 years of progressive facilities management experience overseeing multiple locations, regions, and operational sites simultaneously.
- Demonstrated the ability to prioritize and manage competing facility needs across multiple sites while maintaining high service standards.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and general building compliance requirements.
Travel Expectations and Physical Demands:
Up to 40% of time outside the home office, traveling to other area offices and project locations throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Consistent standing and walking with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Authorization / Security Clearance
- Employee must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Drug screens are required after an offer is accepted and continued employment is based on initial drug screen and any future/random drug screens administered.
- A background check will be required.
- A confidentiality agreement may be required.
- Driving records may be required.
- Further clearance may be required by clients (i.e. government or military site access).
