Job/Position Summary:
The Industrial maintenance technician will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, calibration and repair of shop floor equipment. Machine uptime is the highest priority for the position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Diagnose and repair CNC, Additive (3D Printing), and factory production equipment
- Basic building maintenance
- Sustain a preventative maintenance plan
- Coordinate with outside vendors for machine maintenance and repairs
- Assist with installations of new equipment
- Work to reduce unplanned down time by assessing equipment and establishing countermeasures
- Maintain spare parts inventory levels to support high machine uptime
- Track machine KPI’s, such as unplanned downtime, to help improve long term performance
- Communicate equipment status within the organization.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Technical degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Automation, or related course of study a plus but not required.
- 3 years of experience in CNC, Additive, or similar plant maintenance
- Experience trouble shooting PLC’s, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, professionalism, accountability, communication, and positive attitude.
- The ability to read blueprints and execute shop math
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
