This role ensures production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. The supervisor will lead a team of press brake operators, provide technical guidance, and coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Supervision· Manage and schedule press brake operators to meet production targets.· Train and mentor team members on machine setup, operation, and safety procedures.· Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.Production Management· Ensure jobs are completed according to specifications, drawings, and tolerances.· Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance as needed.· Optimize material usage and minimize waste.Quality Control· Inspect parts for accuracy and compliance with quality standards.· Implement corrective actions for non-conforming parts.Safety & Compliance· Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.· Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.Continuous Improvement· Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce setup times, and increase efficiency.· Collaborate with engineering and production planning teams for workflow improvements.Qualifications· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in press brake operation and sheet metal fabrication.· Previous supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment.· Strong knowledge of precision sheet metal processes, tooling, and CNC press brake programming.· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Physical Requirements· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.· Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.What we offer: Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
