About the Role:
At Fatboys, our bar is the center of the action. We’re seeking an experienced, high-energy, and dependable Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, a passion for great drinks, and a commitment to keeping the vibes high and the service fast. As a Fatboys Bartender, you aren't just pouring drinks—you’re creating a great guest experience, building regulars, and keeping the shift running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience & Service: Warmly greet guests, take drink and food orders, recommend favorites, and deliver exceptional, attentive service from start to finish.
- Crafting & Quality Control: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to Fatboys recipes and standards.
- Product Knowledge: Master our drink menu, beer lists, liquor selection, and food menu to answer guest questions and make confident recommendations.
- Cash Handling & POS: Accurately process payments, operate the POS system, manage tabs, and strictly follow company cash-handling procedures.
- Bar Operations & Maintenance: Keep the bar area, tools, and seating impeccably clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift. Assist with inventory management as directed.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service laws and company policies (ID checking, over-service prevention, etc.).
- Teamwork & Atmosphere: Promote a fun, positive, and supportive work culture by maintaining an upbeat attitude and collaborating smoothly with servers and kitchen staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong knowledge of drink ingredients, classic cocktails, and pouring techniques.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and work efficiently during rush hours.
- Professional appearance and reliable attendance.
- Must meet state/local age requirements for serving alcohol and hold any required server certifications.
