Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the overall operations of our restaurant/hotel and contributes to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Organize clean dishes and ensure they are stored properly.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation as needed, including basic food handling tasks.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify management when stock is low.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Skills

• Experience in culinary or food service environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to keep the kitchen area clean and orderly.
• Willingness to collaborate with kitchen staff and contribute positively to team dynamics.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
