Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for managing the flow of materials, goods, and products into the facility. This includes, but not limited to, receiving, inspection, and proper storage of incoming shipments as well as ensuring that materials are handled efficiently, organized, and properly distributed to various departments. Also included will be the dumping of production garbage dumpsters.

Compensation & Benefits
- $24.00 to $26.00 an hour (depending on level of experience)

- Safely and efficiently move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse or production area.
- Organize and store materials, ensuring that items are properly labeled and easily accessible. Develop a working knowledge of required MRP system and triggers production uses for material restock
- Transport raw materials to production or staging areas as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in compliance with safety protocols.
- Complete Kanban walks on predetermined cadence for bin and card pickup and material return
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Receive incoming shipments, including raw materials, parts, or finished goods.
- Inspect shipments for damages, discrepancies, or defects and document any issues accordingly.
- Verify and compare packing lists, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy of received goods.
- Record and report received and issued materials into inventory management systems.
- Take care of production garbage bin dumping on schedule and as needed
- In free time work with logistics for kitting bin refill.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager.
- High school diploma or GED required
- 12 years experience in manufacturing environment
- 6 months Forklift experience(sit down required, stand up preferred)
- Strong organizational skill with attention to detail
- Forklift experience or certification (training available if needed)
- Experience receiving, organizing, or distributing materials
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, MRP, or similar systems
- Experience supporting or guiding other team members
