Material Handler
SmartTalent is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for moving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting and is comfortable operating material handling equipment.

Pay: $24 - $26

Monday–Thursday 5am - 330pm

Key Responsibilities
· Safely and efficiently move, load, and unload materials within warehouse or production areas
· Organize and store materials to ensure proper labeling and easy accessibility
· Transport raw materials to production or staging areas as needed
· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
· Perform routine inventory checks, including Kanban walks for bin and card collection and material replenishment
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times
· Receive incoming shipments, including raw materials, parts, and finished goods
· Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, or defects and report issues appropriately
· Verify packing lists, purchase orders, and invoices for accuracy
· Accurately record incoming and outgoing materials in inventory management systems
· Support production waste removal and disposal as needed
· Assist with kitting and material replenishment during downtime
· Collaborate with team members and leadership to support daily operations
· Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED
· 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
· At least 6 months of forklift experience (sit-down required, stand-up preferred)
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
· Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
· Experience receiving, organizing, or distributing materials
· Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments
· Exposure to inventory systems such as MRP, Kanban, or Lean processes
· Experience supporting or training team members
