Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products with precision using order picking and packing techniques.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory management activities to keep stock levels accurate and organized.
- Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize order fulfillment processes.
- Ensure all packaging meets quality standards while adhering to safety protocols for warehouse operations.
- Support inbound logistics by receiving shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and updating inventory records promptly.
- Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by accurately processing orders and responding to internal or external inquiries related to shipping status or inventory.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, and warehouse distribution processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, weighing packages, and calculating shipment dimensions or quantities.
- Experience with data entry tasks using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy in inventory management and order picking/packing.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing customer service when needed.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards across all warehouse operations.
