Position Summary
Fastenal is seeking a Lean Solutions Specialist to support customers across Texas and Louisiana. This full‑time, field‑based role focuses on executing process improvements and physically implementing supply chain solutions at customer sites.
The Lean Solutions Specialist works closely with project managers, sales teams, and customers to turn improvement plans into real‑world results. This is a hands-on role that requires travel, on‑site implementation, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute on-site implementation of supply chain, inventory, and process improvement solutions
- Support project managers during customer implementations, transitions, and launches
- Assess current‑state processes and help identify opportunities to improve flow, efficiency, and control
- Assist with physical installs such as vending, point‑of‑use, crib layouts, and standardization
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Travel regularly to customer locations across the Texas and Louisiana region
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Clear and professional communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable with hands‑on execution
