Job Summary
We are hiring an entry level SMT Operator to help run machines that build electronic circuit boards. This role is a good fit for someone who is reliable, detail oriented, and willing to learn. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
Set up machines by loading parts and programs
Run SMT machines and follow simple work instructions
Make sure the correct parts are used and placed properly
Watch machines while they run and make small adjustments if needed
Check finished boards and parts for any visible problems
Clean and take care of machines as needed
Report any issues with machines or production
Keep basic production records
Keep your work area clean and organized
Follow all safety and company procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Little to no experience needed, training is available
Willingness to learn and work with machines
Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Good attention to detail and reliability
Physical Requirements
Good hand and eye coordination
Ability to see clearly, including colors, with or without correction
Mostly sitting with some standing, walking, and bending
Ability to lift to 20 pounds
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with some noise
Able to follow safety rules when working around equipment and materials
