Fast Track Urgent Care – Florissant and Woodson Terrace, MOFull-time and part-time openings
Fast Track is a walk-in urgent care with two clinics in North County, at Florissant and Woodson Terrace. We see patients for everything from colds and cuts to DOT physicals, STI testing and primary care.
We’re hiring people who can work both sides of the clinic. Some hours you’ll be at the front desk checking patients in. Other hours you’ll be in the back rooming patients and helping the provider. Most days it’s both. If you like being busy and don’t want to do the same thing all day, this job is for you.
Front desk
- Greet and check in walk-ins and booked patients in our online check-in system
- Get insurance right the first time - card photos front and back, member ID, and a live coverage check before the patient is roomed
- Check Medicaid patients on the provider portal - plans change and patients often don’t know
- Collect copays and self-pay payments, and close out the register
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and send and receive faxes
- Keep the waiting area moving and patients informed
Back office / MA
- Room patients, take vitals, and record history and medications in our EMR
- Point-of-care tests - strep, flu, COVID, urine, pregnancy and glucose
- Draw blood and handle lab specimens
- EKGs, TB skin tests, injections and vaccines under provider orders
- Help with minor procedures - wound care, splinting, sutures, I&Ds
- Help with DOT and other physicals
- Clean and restock rooms, and keep supplies and equipment ready
What we’re looking for
- At least 1 year in a medical office, urgent care or ER - front desk, MA, or both
- MA certificate (CMA, RMA, CCMA) preferred, or solid hands-on experience
- Phlebotomy experience is a big plus
- Comfortable with computers - EMR, online check-in and insurance portals
- Calm when it’s busy, friendly with patients, and good with details
- Able to work days, evenings and weekends, and either clinic as needed
- BLS/CPR, or willing to get it
Salary : $17 - $24
