ABOUT US:
Fast Threads Inc. is a growing custom apparel company with locations in Montevideo, MN, Watertown, SD, and Dawson, MN. We do screen printing, embroidery, signs and graphics, and more for schools, businesses, sports teams, and organizations across western Minnesota and eastern South Dakota. Our Dawson location has operated as Jim's Clothing for decades and is now part of the Fast Threads family. We're investing in this store's future and looking for the right person to help us grow.
THE ROLE:
We're looking for an Account Manager to be the primary point of contact for our Dawson-area customers. This is a relationship-driven role. You'll be working with established accounts, helping walk-in customers, processing orders, and making sure every person who interacts with our Dawson location gets taken care of at the highest level.
This isn't a cold-calling sales job. It's about maintaining and strengthening the relationships we've built over 50 years in this community while helping us bring those relationships into the future.
Day to day, you would be:
- Serving as the main point of contact for existing customer accounts
- Processing orders and coordinating with our production facility in Montevideo
- Working alongside our sales team to make sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Helping walk-in customers with orders, questions, and product selection
- Keeping the store organized, presentable, and running smoothly
- Learning our systems and processes (Printavo, InkSoft, Monday.com)
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Someone who genuinely likes working with people and building relationships
- Organized and detail-oriented — you don't let things slip
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new software
- A self-starter who can work independently without someone looking over your shoulder
- Someone who takes pride in doing things right
Experience in apparel, print, or customer service is a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person. What we can't train is attitude, reliability, and the drive to take ownership of your work.
